The student handbook has information on Upward Bound rules, regulations and policies. As well as, information concerning attendance, academic probation and disciplinary code of conduct.
Remind is a simple and easy to use text alert system. It's easy to sign up and we encourage all our students to use it. This will be an efficient and easy way for Upward Bound staff to communicate information such as school visit changes, Monday session changes, etc.

Tutor.com is available directly to students, as well as schools, libraries, businesses and community colleges to help K-12 and adult learners succeed. Tutor.com is tutoring the way it was meant to be. You get an expert tutor whenever you need help, and you work one-to-one with your tutor in our online classroom on your specific problem until it's done. Everything happens online. You never need to make an appointment or even leave the house! ETSU Upward Bound program is providing access to Tutor.com at NO COST to our students.
Upward Bound students have access to study sheets on a wide range of topics including: foreign languages, math, science, language arts and HTML. Ask an Upward Bound staff member and we'll get you the study resources you need.
Upward Bound students can check out books from our program library. A wide range of books are available including popular fiction books, literature, self-help/life skills books, and academic books.
If you would like check out a book, please email Ali at firstname.lastname@example.org or ask a staff member and we will deliver your book at your next school visit.
All Tennessee students in grades K-12 have access to free homework help through a service called Homework Hotline. Teachers are available Monday through Thursday from 5-9 p.m. Eastern time. The hotline may be reached by calling 1-888-868-5777 or (615) 298-6636. Students may call as many times as they would like, and parents may call as well.
