Office of Transfer Articulation
Receive both an associate and bachelor's degree by following a
transfer/articulation agreement. Two-year institutions and ETSU
have approved agreements in many majors. The transfer plan:
- shows you which courses you should take at your two-year institution
to complete the hours required for the associate degree.
- allows you to have completed the first two years toward an ETSU
bachelor's degree at a two-year institution.
- includes ETSU program admission requirements for your major.
- specifies ETSU courses needed to complete the bachelor's degree,
including intensive courses.
You need to follow carefully the transfer/articulation agreement
in order to meet associate degree requirements, as well as ETSU
and major program admission requirements. Follow the transfer agreement
in effect at the time that you enroll at the two-year institution.
If you change your major after transferring to ETSU, a transcript
evaluation will determine which courses apply to your new major.
Work with your two-year institution advisor for counseling toward
the associate degree. File an Intent
to Articulate form with ETSU. This allows ETSU to provide you
academic counseling as you prepare to transfer.
