East Tennessee State University implemented the SunGard Higher Education Banner Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System in 2006-2009.  Banner runs on an integrated database system developed by SunGard Higher Education.  Banner assists colleges and universities in recording and maintaining data for their students, employees, alumni, and donors.  Banner ERP software solutions consist of five modules: Banner Student, Banner Finance, Banner Human Resources, Banner Financial Aid, and Banner Advancement.  The web-based system for students and employees is called GoldLink on the ETSU campus.
