Political Science is the study of the political aspects of the human condition. The political science curriculum is      designed to prepare students for effective, responsible citizenship and is a desirable major for students with

career interests in law, public service, and public affairs. The department offers courses of study leading to the bachelor or sciences and the bachelor of arts.

Department Announcements for Spring Semester 2008

 

Note: Our experimental course PSCI 4030-201

BLACK AMERICAN POLITICAL THOUGHT

WILL be offered this semester,

Wednesdays, 7:00-10:00pm

Room 225, Rogers-Stout Hall

 

This course will expose students to major political philosophies of the black

American experience.  It will also introduce students to the black community's

desire for social equity through social/political action.
