New Art Installation by Travis Graves
Appalachian State University and The Turchin Center for the Visual Arts present “Indivisible: A New Art Installation by Artist Travis Graves”. Graves’ artwork is rooted in addressing notions of expectation and cultural attitudes as it defines our relationship to the natural world. His manipulation of natural materials serve as a metaphor for society’s dependence on nature and its ultimate influence over it.
The Exhibition will take place in the Mayer Gallery at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts in Boone, NC. “Indivisible” will run from August 22 through November 15 with an opening reception Friday, September 5 from 6 to 10 pm. The exhibition is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
