Master of Arts in History
The Department of History offers a graduate degree program leading to the Master of Arts. To be eligible for a master's degree in history, a student should hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college and have the necessary prerequisites for advanced work in the department. This background should include the completion of a minimum of 27 hours semester hours of study in history.
Potential students, who have undergraduate degrees in subjects other than history may be considered for admission by the Graduate Committee, based upon an evaluation of their transcripts.
