XCELL Mentor Program

Xcell Mentoring Program

The XCELL Mentor Program, started in 2009, is a multi-year collaborative project between East Tennessee State University, Milligan College, Northeast State Community College, King College, and high schools in Northeast Tennessee.  The program matches up English-language learners and/or Hispanic high school juniors and seniors with mentors who can support and encourage them to continue their education.  The ultimate goal of the program is to increase enrollment of these diverse students in Tennessee institutions of higher education.
