Visiting Scientist Program
Tennessee Academy of Science (TAS) sponsors a free-of-charge Visiting Scientist Program to send senior scientists to area middle & high schools.
Personal communication is an important part of a child's science education. TAS members are willing to personally visit and/or communicate directly with your class via the internet. There are a variety of possibilities for classroom visits. The programs are generally 30-60 minutes in length. Some examples may include demonstrations, lecture, and hands-on activities.
