Graduation requirements

Congratulations on being accepted into the MPA program! Now that you are here there are several steps you must complete on your journey towards graduation.

Once you have completed 12 credit hours you must complete two forms with your adviser: the Application of Candidacy for the Master's Degree and the Program of Study. If you were admitted on a conditional basis, a Change of Conditional Admission form will need to be completed once those conditions have been met. These forms must go to Graduate Studies to have the Dean's approval.

If at some point you decide to change your concentration, you must submit a Change of Program of Study form and complete a new Program of Study form.

The semester before you graduate, you must submit an Intent to Graduate form. If you do not graduate the semester you submitted the form for, you will have to complete another intent to graduate for the semester you will graduate.

The semester before you plan to write and defend your capstone report, you must set-up an advisory committee and fill out the Appointment of an Advisory Committee for the Master's Degree form. See your adviser when filling out this information.
