MISSION STATEMENT:

The AFG Industries Chair of Excellence is an exciting partnership between industry and higher education as both groups seek ways to increase competitiveness in today's global marketplace. Part of the mission of this chair is to strengthen the interdisciplinary ties between business and technology. Working with the faculty, students, and local business and industry, the AFG Chair of Excellence will assist in developing new graduate program emphases in Project Management, Economic Development, Technical Innovation, Quality Management, and Continuous Improvement. In addition, the AFG Industries Chair of Excellence will continue to promote entrepreneurship throughout the region.
