Accelerated Masters of Business Administration Program

Curriculum

The accelerated MBA programs both require 10 courses (30 credit hours) and two elective courses (6 credit hours). The courses are essentially the same as the courses offered in the traditional program. Course descriptions can be found in the Graduate Catalog.

In order to help non-business undergraduate majors successfully complete the AMBA, students may be required to take one or more on-line 'boot camp' courses that cover the areas of accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, statistics, and quantitative methods. They are asynchronous, typically eight hours long and are offered free of charge to students accepted into the AMBA. They cover all of the foundation areas including accounting statistics, finance, economics, marketing, and general management.
