An Appalachian Research Network poster has been accepted for presentation in the Research in Progress category at the 2012 North American Primary Care Research Group's Annual Meeting being held December 1-5 in New Orleans, Lousiana.
The poster is titled "The Impact of PCP Availability On Primary Care Appointments In Rural Appalachia: An APPNet PBRN Study." Poster Presenters are Dr. Fred Tudiver, Jeri Ann Basden, Ivy Click, and Lori Francis.
Mission Statement
1. To support rural Appalachian Primary Care Providers in improving quality of practices by increasing their access to new technology and tools, best evidence information, and relevant education.
2. Utilize and nurture the network members for conducting practice-based research focused on Southern Appalachian Primary Care.
