About the Conference: The 13th Annual Update in Acute and Emergency Care Pediatrics Conference is the result of collaboration between Tennessee's four Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center (CRPCs) and Tennessee Emergency Medical Services for Children (TN EMSC). The course will provide practical clinical information about urgent and emergent pediatric challenges in an atmosphere that encourages participant interaction.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of participating in this activity, the attendee should be able to...

  • Understand emerging evidence-based considerations in acute pediatric care
  • Be better prepared for the complications that caring for pediatric populations may present in the acute setting
  • Standardize systems of acute care so that pediatric patients experience best practices in acute and emergency medicine


Target Audience: Pediatricians, Family and Internal Medicine Physicians, Surgeons, Emergency Medicine Physicians, Pediatric Subspecialists, Advanced Practice Nurses, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, Nurses, EMS Providers, and students in all disciplines of care.
