Joann D'Aprile-Lubrano, DO, Associate Professor and Osteopathic DME/PD/Kingsport Center

Dr. D'Aprile-Lubrano grew up on Long Island, New York, where she graduated with a BS in nursing in 1980 and received her MS and Nurse Practitioner degrees in 1986 from S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook. Dr. D'Aprile-Lubrano moved with her family to a small town in central Florida in 1987. Dr. D'Aprile-Lubrano decided to return to school attending Nova-Southeastern University where she obtained her DO degree in 1997. She completed her Family Medicine Residency at ETSU Family Physicians of Kingsport in June 2000. Dr. D'Aprile-Lubrano credits her three great years as a resident at ETSU Family Physicians of Kingsport for convincing her to stay on as a faculty member and focusing on residency education. Dr. D'Aprile-Lubrano and her husband Greg have three adult children and three adult stepchildren, who are scattered in Tennessee, Florida, and the NE. She has a plethora of cats, none of which I own, and a dog. Dr. D'Aprile-Lubrano's interests include complementary, energetic, and spiritual medicine and healing systems, as well as traditional osteopathy.
