My interest in medicine began at an early age. Throughout high school and college, shadowing opportunities and other educational programs confirmed my desire to pursue medicine as a career. After graduating from Virginia Tech, I was fortunate enough to stay in Blacksburg, meet and marry my beautiful wife, Jessica, then begin my medical training at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Our daughter, Esther, was born during my second year, and our family continues to grow. Our second daughter, Evangeline, was born during my intern year. Just as I love to see my girls grow and mature, I also enjoy the Bristol program and the educational opportunities and professional maturity I am gaining. In the future, we're interested in pursuing medical missions. I love to be with my family, participate in church activities, play guitar, listen to music, play soccer, and work on projects, especially woodworking and restoration.
