I was born and raised in the Appalachians of Virginia and have always felt that the mountains were my home. I traveled to the other side of Virginia to go to the College of William and Mary, and it was there that I met my wife Amy. I received my medical education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA where I found another passion --primary care. With my love of the Appalachian Mountains and my desire to be a rural-based primary care physician, I quickly fell in love with Tennessee and the program at ETSU. My wife and I love Bristol. We enjoy living somewhere that we can bike, camp, and hike again. I'm very glad to have been given the opportunity to work with the other physicians and residents at ETSU with the goal of improving our patients' health and lives. |
