I was born in a small village in south India. I went to medical school at Narayana Medical College, NTR University of Health Sciences, India. During my childhood, I became a victim of whooping cough. My suffering, the doctor visits, and my eventual recovery with treatment, left a deep admiration towards the medical profession. After graduating from medical school, I worked in a community hospital. It was a very satisfying experience to be able to help patients by handling their complete health care needs. Family medicine allows me to provide continuous, coordinated and comprehensive care to my patients and it is a wonderful opportunity to treat patients of all ages. I enjoy cooking and hiking in my leisure time. I know how to cook 200 varieties of dishes. I chose ETSU for its quality in standards and facilities and above all for the friendly environment and approachable faculty. Johnson City reminds me of my hometown.
