I am a graduate of Baqai Medical University in Karachi, Pakistan. I am delighted to be a part of the Family Medicine team at Johnson City! I came here for a rotation and loved it. While on rotations I realized that medical practice is not just a practice of medicine but also a practice of how to work with people. Many times a patient’s visit involves psychosocial issues and requires the physician to look beyond the medical aspect of a patient visit to treat the person as a whole. I admired the rapport my attendings had with their patients and working with the faculty and the residents here was an enjoyable experience. I aim to become a competent physician, practicing medicine with compassion and devotion to treat each patient. I enjoy reading, traveling, walking, hiking, golf and cooking |
