Madhavi Medipally, M.D.

I was born and brought up in the southern part of India and attended Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal. After graduating, I moved to Jamaica where I worked in primary health care for more than two years. This gave me good exposure to primary care and made me realize the importance of both individual and national health. I love the concept of treating family as a whole, rather than being restricted to a set of patients. I am blessed to have a wonderful and supportive family. I am married to Dr. Srinivas, a pediatrician from India, and we have a beautiful daughter, Satya. We love spending time at home, watching Dora and comedy movies. When I interviewed at the Johnson City program, I instinctively knew that this was the place where I wanted to do my residency. Now, I am looking forward to quality training in family medicine.
