I am the eldest of five, and the only female amongst my four brothers. My family is from Ecuador, and incredibly important to me. I have many pet birds – African greys, conures, and cockatiels – all of who I consider part of my family. I grew up right outside of New York City, in Scarsdale. Having grown up around my parent’s primary care office in the Bronx, I am passionate in my mission to bring exceptional healthcare and attention to underserved communities. I want to serve as a resource, and help my patients reach their utmost potential in all facets.
I went to Tufts University in Massachusetts for undergraduate and studied child development. I went to the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten for medical school. During my two years in St. Maarten, I met my husband, Mickael. He owns a French and Guadeloupian food business in St. Maarten. We both enjoy martial arts and staying fit. I love to rollerblade, play tennis, baseball, spend time at the beach (when possible), laugh, and dance. I have a lot of love for life and for medicine.
