FURROWED TONGUE
About 5% of people are born with varying degrees of a furrowed tongue, sometimes referred to as a scrotal tongue. As in this case, there is usually a family history of the finding. There are no associated symptoms. On occasion, furrowing can be acquired. One such circumstance is found in persons with hypertrichosis laguninosa due to a rectal or colonic adenocarcinoma. |
