Psychiatry outpatient clinics overlap in the PGY IV & V years. Residents complete 12 continuous months as per board eligibility requirements. Outpatient clinics offer a wide and varied level of clinical exposure for acute and chronic psychiatric disorders at multiple sites. This experience includes intensive outpatient, psychotherapy, and com- munity, university and VA based mental health clinics.

Internal Medicine continuity clinics are conducted biweekly for the duration of the residency training period. Clinics are held at the offices of ETSU Physicians and Associates. Residents have full access to the same facilities and support staff that faculty members have. Educational sessions encompassing ambulatory medicine topics are conducted monthly.
