Through East Tennessee State University's mission and vision, we are committed to treating people with dignity and respect. This core value involves all employees and affects our ability to educate our students and work together in an atmosphere conducive to building relationships on honesty, integrity, and trust. Training in Title IX and Title VI of the Civil RIghts Act of 1964 are required of all employees of East Tennessee State University. This training program helps us meet our legal requirement (Titles VII and IX of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Tennessee Code Annotated 49-7-122, 1993; Title VI; TBR Policy P-080) that all employees receive training periodically.
Training in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is now required of all employees of East Tennessee State University, as directed by the Tennessee Board of Regents, within each fiscal year.
