International Programs
and Services is your ticket to
a new world of opportunities to enhance your academic
experience and life. Financial awards are available to
help you make this experience a reality and an asset
to your future.
Our International Programs provide advice and preparation
for all students who wish to include an international/national
exchange or study abroad experience in their academic
program. These programs are your chance to travel and
learn from diverse cultures and bring those learning
experiences back to campus to share and help other
students. Our staff are experts at helping
ETSU students find the best opportunities and the best
plans that will support their career goals and degree
completion, at the same time. Because our staff also
serve to attract, assist, and advise students from
around the world, they are well qualified to prepare
you and help with all the details. Once you join us
at ETSU, you can participate in this program, enrich
your degree, and enhance our campus community.
If you want more hands-on, the chance to pursue a scholarly
project one-on-one with a faculty mentor in the sciences,
arts, humanities, business, letters or some combination
of those…well, you need to get involved in Undergraduate
Research & Creative Activities at ETSU.
Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities
are both encouraged and supported at ETSU. This program
offers you funded opportunities to delve into meaningful
research in any discipline. For any ETSU student, these
experiences will give you opportunity for “hands-on” learning,
a greater understanding of what you are studying, and
help you develop and hone those skills necessary to
your field of study and your future job. Through this
program, any student is eligible to achieve recognition
for their work by achieving “Distinction” in
Research or in Creative Arts at graduation from ETSU.
Grant
awards to support Student-Faculty collaborative projects
are available, as well as travel funds to help you
present your results, your art or your performance
at regional, national or international professional
conferences. Heard of Honors classes? Want to try the experience and
test your potential? The Honors College is developing new
avenues in honors-sponsored courses and special
co-curricular offerings. We’re just working on these
plans, so please check back with us for a more complete
description and update soon. |
