Twenty-two incoming freshmen are selected as University Honors Scholars each year. Only those students who meet the minimum qualifications outlined below will receive an application to the program.

• Minimum ACT (composite total without writing)
  score of 29 or SAT (math and reading total only)
  score of 1280
• High school grade point average of 3.5+ (4.0 scale)
• Evidence of community and leadership activities

Special application is required and due on January 31 for admission the following fall.
