JOHNSON CITY (June 1) — East Tennessee State University has been named one of the top 75 Veteran-Friendly schools in the nation in DiversityComm’s annual evaluation and will be featured in US Veterans Magazine’s annual “Best of the Best” and “Salute to Veterans” summer issue.

DiversityComm’s website notes, “The goal of the annual evaluations is to not only bring the latest information and guidance to our readers, but also encourage active outreach and diversity policies among corporations and government agencies. The lists were compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses that were performed by DiversityComm.

“This year, more than 350 companies and institutions participated.”

The summer issue of US Veterans Magazine will be available at newsstands and digitally in mid-August.
