The traditional BSN program consists of five semesters in the major after you have completed your university core
requirements. You can become a BSN major by enrolling at ETSU as a pre-nursing major, changing majors, or transferring
to ETSU from another university. You can also obtain the BSN after completing another college
degree.
Upon successful completion of all nursing course work, you will receive a BSN degree and will be qualified to take
the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) to become a Registered Nurse.
The priority admission deadlines for application to the major are February 1 and October 1 of each year, but
applications are accepted until the class is full. The applications may be picked up in the Office
of Academic Programs and Student
Services, Room 230, Roy S. Nicks Hall, Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
