unit). A brief explanation is given to explain how to use
the telephone and some of its system features. System
features are the special functions your telephone will perform

Hold allows users to place the handset on the cradle without disconnecting the other party.
Transfer allows users, after answering or originating a call, to direct that call to another telephone extension. The connection between the caller and the person to whom the call is being transferred is complete when you hang up the receiver.
The Call Pickup feature allows you to answer a call ringing on an extension within your call pickup group. Please call the Help Desk at 9-4648 to change or assign numbers to your call pickup group.
Conference Calling lets you connect three parties, including yourself. If you have more than three parties to be included in the call, please call the Help Desk at 9-4648 in advance of the conference call to arrange for conference call equipment to be set up in your office.
If necessary, repeat the procedure to include up to 3 parties in the conference.
Call Forwarding automatically routes incoming calls intended for a particular extension to the extension you designate.
