Official transcripts can be requested and picked up after two business days during non-peak times at 101 Dossett Hall between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Transcripts may take up to 10 days to process during the peak times between terms.  A picture ID is required. You may also request an Official Transcript via Goldlink.

Official transcripts can be requested via the Internet 24/7 through the National Student Clearinghouse, or current students and faculty may make requests via Goldlink by following the instructions below and selecting National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Request Form .  You can place as many orders as you like in one session using any major credit card.  Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.  Order updates will be emailed to you.  You can also track your order online using your email address and order number. 

Current students may also request official transcripts from within GoldLink by selecting Request Printed Transcript under Student Records, there is no charge for making your request using this method, however transcript tracking information is not provided.

Alumni and Past Attendees can request transcripts through Self-Service Banner.

Unofficial transcripts can be accessed on-line using GoldLink. After arriving at the site, enter your ETSU User Name and ETSU Password to login. Once you log into GoldLink select the My Student Info  tab, click on Transcripts under the Registration Tools channel, select transcript level as Undergraduate and then select Student Unofficial Transcript from the drop down box. If you have not attended ETSU since Fall 2001, your transcript will not be accessible on the web via GoldLink.

If you do not have access to GoldLink and do not wish to make your request directly through the National Student Clearinghouse, you may request official transcripts through Self-Service Banner or via fax and U.S. Mail.

Official transcripts may be requested via fax (423-439-6604) or mail by submitting the request in writing including the following information:

  1. Complete name (including any previous names)
  2. E # (Student Number)
  3. Term last enrolled
  4. Number of transcripts requested
  5. Complete address of where to mail the transcript(s)
  6. Written signature of student requesting the transcript(s)
  7. Current telephone number, including area code
  8. Special instructions (if the transcript needs to be held until degrees are posted, etc.)

There is no charge for transcripts requested outside of the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcripts will not be issued until all debts or obligations owed to the institution have been satisfied.

Overnight Requests will be sent via overnight mail after the two business day processing period or five day processing period, at the end of the term, has been completed.  Please call 423-439-4230 with payment information.

You may also print and complete the Transcript Request Form and return it to the Records Office for processing via email, mail, fax, or in person.
