Philip Philip Joel Benfield

Philip graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC in 2010. He completed an internship in General Surgery at ETSU then returned to Winston-Salem to complete a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He currently resides and practices in Kernersville, NC.


Aya Aya Fukuda

Following her time at ETSU, Aya was in the inaugural class of the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy, graduating in May 2012, with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.  She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at The University of Texas at Austin and is currently employed with HEB Pharmacy in Austin, TX.  She serves as a preceptor for student pharmacists and volunteers at the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic.

Keely Goodwin Keely Richardson Goodwin

Keely is a native of Elizabethton, where she graduated as valedictorian from Elizabethton High School.  She graduated as salutatorian from ETSU in 2006, majoring in Economics and Marketing. During her time at ETSU, Keely served as president of the American Marketing Association, Omicron Delta Kappa, and was named Outstanding Marketing Major for the College of Business & Technology. She completed internships with Hunter, Smith & Davis, a Tri-Cities law firm; and with Eastman Chemical Company, in marketing communications. Following graduation, Keely joined Eastman Chemical in Kingsport, and has held numerous positions within the marketing, global sales and business development divisions.  She is currently working as a Business Manager for the company’s Adhesives division, and plans to pursue her MBA in coming years. Keely, her husband, Nathan, and daughter, Jovie, reside in Elizabethton, TN.

michele Carolyn Michele Richards

Michelle graduated from ETSU in 2008 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  She is currently working as the Pediatric Physical Therapist for a school system in East Tennessee.  She also has a small photography business and runs an online vintage clothing shop.
