Welcome to the Scholarship Office at East Tennessee State University. We know that financing a college education is a daunting task! We hope to be able to assist you in obtaining the financial resources necessary to attend and finish your degree at ETSU.
Entering Freshmen: ETSU offers guaranteed scholarships to qualified students who are Tennessee residents or residents of approved border counties if they have a complete application for admission on file by December 15. Click here to see if you are eligible.
Entering Transfer Students: ETSU offers Academic Performance Scholarships to Tennessee residents or residents of approved border counties based upon their cumulative gpa. Apply using the general ETSU scholarship application. Deadline is May 15. Click here for additional information.
Honors College: Check out the ETSU Honors College for information about the University Honors, Honors-in-Discipline, Midway Honors Scholars, and Fine and Performing Art Scholars Programs.
Out-of-State Students: ETSU offers several programs that may assist you with the cost of out-of-state tuition at ETSU. Click here for additional information about these programs.
All Undergraduate and Graduate Students: Click on the "Search and Apply" link to determine the ETSU scholarships for which you are eligible. At the end of the search, you can apply on-line for general scholarships. The application deadline for general scholarships is March 1.
College/Departmental Scholarships: Many of ETSU's academic departments offer scholarships to their majors. Click on the "College/Departmental Scholarships" link to find what scholarships your department offers.
You may also wish to visit the ETSU Office of Financial Aid web page for information regarding federal and state need based aid (grants, loans and federal work study).
