Steven E. Buttolph Criminal Justice Scholarship

Awarded to a junior, senior or graduate student in criminal justice. Must have at least a 3.0 GPA and documented financial need. Preference will be given to police officers continuing their education.

John R. Cunningham Memorial Scholarship Endowment

For future law enforcement personnel. Incoming freshmen must have minimum 2.5 high school GPA; currently enrolled students must have minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be a resident of Johnson County, TN. Apply to the Chair, Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology.

Christopher T. Mahan Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to full-time or part-time students criminal justice majors with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students who graduated from Sullivan Central High School. Application should be made to the Department of Criminal Justice.

Thomas E. and Thelma Sell Mitchell Criminal Justice and Criminology Scholarship

Must be a Tennessee resident and at least a rising junior pursuing a degree in the Department of Criminal justice and Criminology and intern and the professional potential to pursue a career in the justice profession. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Todd W. McKeehan Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to full-time students showing exceptional promise for contributing to the field of criminal justice and majoring in Criminal Justice. Apply to the Department of Criminal Justice by March 1.

David R. Scruggs Memorial Scholarship

For senior criminal justice majors, showing promise in Law Enforcement. Apply to the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
