Otis A. Peeler Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to a rising junior majoring in math, or if no math majors otherwise qualify,
then students majoring in computer science shall be eligible. A minimum GPA of 2.7 is required. In
furtherance of increased diversity at the University and to promote the awareness of African-American
culture and the need to provide education opportunities, it is the intent of the Peeler family that
African-American and other historically underrepresented populations be fully considered for the award.

Rex Denwil Depew Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to full-time students majoring in math and preparing for a teaching career. Apply to
the Department of Mathematics.
Faber-Neal Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to a worthy and needy sophomore mathematics major. Must demonstrate a commitment to a
successful career in the field of Mathematics. Apply to the Department of Mathematics.
Jeffrey Lynn Hightower Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Math students with at least a 3.25 GPA should submit applications to the Chair of the Department of
Mathematics.
Edward L. Stanley Scholarship Endowment
For meritorious students planning to major in mathematics. Freshmen must have minimum high school
GPA of 3.2 and ACT composite of 25. Renewable at the discretion of the selection committee if student maintains
minimum 3.2 GPA. Apply to the Chairman, Department of Mathematics.
Charles F. Wilkey Mathematics Scholarship Endowment
Awarded to students who are juniors and above who show dedication and devotion to the field of
mathematics. Minimum 3.5 GPA's should submit applications to the Chair of the Department of Mathematics.
Wilson-Hartsell Scholarship Endowment
For students majoring in mathematics. Apply to the Department of Mathematics.
