Army ROTC Scholarships
Two-year, three-year, and four-year scholarships in the amount of tuition, fees,
cost of textbooks, laboratory expenses, and classroom materials for undergraduate and graduate
students. Scholarships are also available for the undergraduate Nursing program and for graduate
programs in health professions. Apply to the Department of Military
Science (Brooks Gym Room 202) or call 439-5291.
ETSU ROTC Department Residence Hall Scholarship
Students interested in joining the ROTC program may apply for
a Residence Hall Scholarship with the Department of Military Science.
ETSU ROTC Department Scholarship/Academic Performance Scholarship (APS)
Students interested in joining the ROTC program may apply for an APS with the
Department of Military Science. Students must maintain at least a 2.9 GPA and work 75 hours a
semester in the ROTC department. Apply to the Department of Military Science
William P. Dotson Family Army ROTC Scholarship Endowment
For full-time contracted ROTC students with sophomore or junior standing. Must have a
2.8 cumulative GPA with a minimum 3.0 GPA for the previous semester.
Capt. Daniel E. Graybeal Memorial Scholarship Endowment
For full-time contracted Army ROTC students. Incoming freshmen must have a
minimum 3.0 high School GPA; currently enrolled students must have a cumulative 2.2 GPA with
a minimum 2.5 GPA for the previous semester.
James Robert Nottingham Memorial Scholarship
For contracted Army ROTC students. Must have a 2.5 GPA and demonstrate high
moral character with a dedicated desire to serve in the United States Army.
Lt. Robert B. Thorne Memorial Scholarship Endowment
For full-time contracted ROTC students with sophomore, junior or senior standing.
Must have 2.0 GPA and have earned at least 54 credit hours. Must have record of leadership.
