Joe F. Lynch Memorial Scholarship
For Environmental Health majors with recognized financial need. Must be a resident of Carter,
Washington, Blount, or Sevier counties in Tennessee. First preference given to children of employees of the
state of TN. Minimum GPA of 2.7 on previous high school or college work. Apply to the Department of
Environmental Health by March 1.
State of Franklin Environmental Society Scholarship
For undergraduate Environmental Health majors. Entering freshmen are eligible. Must be a
resident of Washington or Greene counties in TN. Must have documented financial need. Must gain an
understanding of the State of Franklin Environmental Society through reading the history. Contact the
Department of Environmental Health for information on application deadline.
