Jay L. and Levenia S. Allen Memorial Scholarship Endowment
Applicants must be a rising junior or senior in Public Health. Must have
demonstrated financial need. Must have cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must demonstrate leadership
and exemplify characteristics of care and concern for individuals and communities. Apply to the Department
of Public Health or College of Nursing by March 1.
Bruce A. and Amelia R. Goodrow Endowment
Preference will be given to candidates who are either residents of Hawkins or Grainger
County, Tennessee or veterans of the military forces of the United States residing in East Tennessee;
to students from any other East Tennessee county, in that order. Candidates must demonstrate academic
potential and ability, and be committed to a successful career in a public health profession. Preference
will be given to candidates majoring in Community Health, Public Health Administration, and Environmental
Health, in that order.
Applications should be submitted to the Dean’s Office,
Public and Allied Health by March 1 of each year.
John P. Lamb, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
For rising juniors or seniors who are declared Public Health majors. Minimum GPA 3.0.
Must demonstrate potential to succeed in a public health career. Must demonstrate leadership abilities.
Apply to the Department of Public Health by March 1.
