Dual Enrollment Grants Supported by the Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship Program

The Dual Enrollment Grant is available to students who:

  • Are Tennessee residents
  • Have completed all academic requirements for the 9th and 10th grades and are classified as juniors or seniors at an eligible high school or home school program in Tennessee
  • Are enrolled in 1000 or 2000 level courses at ETSU
  • Are receiving academic credit at both ETSU and their high school
  • Have earned an ACT score of 23 or higher (1060 SAT) and a high school gpa of 3.2 or higher

Students may receive a total of $600 in Dual Enrollment Grant funding per academic year (fall, spring, and summer terms.) They can receive up to $100 per credit hour, not to exceed $300 per term. They must maintain a cumulative gpa of 2.5 at ETSU in order to continue in the program.

Students must complete the Dual Enrollment Grant application every term. These applications are available at www.collegepaystn.com.

Students’ participation in this program will have no effect on their participation in the TELS (Hope Scholarship) program after high school graduation. Their credit hours and ETSU gpa will not be used in the calculation of their TELS gpa or reduce their TELS award in any way.
