Surveying and Mapping Science
GIS/Photogrammetry Sequence

The Surveying and Mapping Science program is accredited by the Applied Science Accreditation Commission of ABET, 111 Market Place, Suite 1050, Baltimore, MD 21202-4012 - telephone: (410) 347-7700.

The Geographic Information Systems/Photogrammetry sequence of the Surveying and Mapping Science undergraduate (B.S.) degree program is designed to provide students with an awareness of the issues and factors involved in the design, implementation and operation of a variety of Geographic Information Systems. Students in this sequence will be provided by the necessary photogrammetric background that will help them to process aerial photos in both the analog and digital environment.
