Barbara Knight Chamberlain has been a student at ETSU since 1994.   She obtained an Associate of Applied Science Degree in 1996, a Bachelor Degree of Science in 1998, and a Master Degree of Public Health in 2001.   Since that time she has continued to take classes to fulfill an unquenchable thirst for education.  

Barbara became an employee of ETSU in 1998 as the Health Educator working for the College of Nursing in Lamb Hall. She worked for the CON until 2005 and transferred to Academic Technology. She has been an adjunct faculty since 2002, and currently teaches a section of ETSU 1000.   Barbara was elected to serve as Staff Senate member in 2011 and is very proud and honored to serve.  

Prior to her career at ETSU she was a Cosmetologist for 10 years working in the Magic Touch, Greeneville TN.   Barbara is married to David Chamberlain.   She has one child who died in 1971, two grown children and 3 grandchildren – Autumn, Matthew and Makayla.   She and David recently adopted Matthew and Makayla ages 10 and 13.   Their home is full of love and laughter with two dogs, two cats, one hamster, and 20 or so fish. Matthew and Makayla attend Boones Creek Elementary and Middle School.
