I was born in Kingsport, TN. I attended ETSU 1966-1970 and graduated with a degree in History attended Cerro Coso Community college in Ridgecrest Ca. 1978-1980 and graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Development. I again attended ETSU 2000-2002 and graduated with a degree in Social Work. I was in the US Navy for 22 years. My job there consisted of keeping the Enlisted and Officer Service Records up to date. I saw the Navy go through many changes during this time. We started out using manual typewriters and by the time I retired, the Navy was using computers for paper work and messages. I saw women welcomed aboard Navy ships. I served aboard two ships- the USS Mackey, homeported out of San Diego, CA and the USS Simon Lake, homeported out of La Mandallena, Italy. My first ship went on a six months West Pacific Cruise we were also involed in the war in the south west Asia-called Desert Storm. We visited Thialand, Japan, Singapore, and Hawaii. The USS Simon Lake visited all the ports in the Mediterranean and of course we visited all the ports out of Italy.
I have been married for 41 years to a wonderful man, Robt. Morin and we have one son, Romin, who lives in Simpsonville, S.C.
I have lived a full life and never had a job I didn't like. I have had a good time seeing different parts of the world and visiting the different people and cultures. I have found that people are the same all over this planet. Their languages may be different but men are the same no matter what culture and the women love them anyway.
