Our mission in the University Advisement Center (UAC) is to provide high quality academic, career and personal counseling to those students who have not declared a specific major and to those who require Learning Support. Our focus on all aspects of student life makes it possible to assist the student in the accomplishment of academic success, enhancement of personal development goals and effective management of the stresses related to academic life.

The University Advisement Center (UAC) is located in the ARC (2nd Level of the D.P. Culp Center) and is staffed by Academic Counselors, Graduate Assistants and a Records Coordinator. We provide academic advisement and guidance to Undeclared Majors and students required to complete Learning Support. Students who are only required to complete Learning Support Math should see their major advisor. For more information, please click the Learning Support tab on the left column of the page.

University policy encourages all students with 60 hours or more to declare a major. All undeclared students with more than 60 hours are asked to schedule an appointment with an advisor as soon as possible to discuss career and academic options.
