Congratulations to the University School Annual Spelling Bee Participants and Winner!

 

This year the spelling bee was unique in that it was held online instead of in person. We had a great response from dozens of students from 3rd - 8th grade. Congratulations to Teebro Paul who won the Bee with the game-winning word: infallibility. Also, we want to offer congratulations to Allison Miller, the runner up.

Teebro continued on to compete and win the Appalachian Regional Spelling Bee! 

The following was released from the 2021 New Sentinel Southern Appalachia Spelling Bee program:  

One student from our region will represent the Knoxville News Sentinel in the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee. With the highest score of the group, Teebro Paul of University School is our Final Local Bee champion! We wish him luck in the national finals.
