About the Appalachian Treasure Fund
The Appalachian Treasure Fund aims to enhance access to mental health services for those in need and increase support for mental health providers and trainees in East Tennessee. The BHWC is seeking financial contributions to fund the following essential initiatives:
· Subsidized Therapy & Assessment Services: Donations will help us provide mental health services at reduced or no cost to individuals and families experiencing financial hardship.
· Outreach Programs: With support, we can expand outreach efforts to remote and underserved communities by assisting in costs for providing assessments onsite for remote organizations/programs and sustaining telehealth services for therapy, groups, and psychoeducation.
· Accessible Care: Due to extremely limited staff and space, we are frequently well beyond capacity to serve our waitlists and referrals. Your financial gifts can be utilized to address staffing and space barriers that prevent more services from reaching our underserved community.
Your contribution, no matter the size, can make a significant impact and help us advance our mission. Together, we can work on improving the mental well-being of countless individuals in our community and contribute to a brighter and healthier future for us all.
To Make a Donation
As a member of East Tennessee State University, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. Financial gifts can be made securely online using this link.
