    Dr. Forrest Lang receives appointment to National Board of Medical Examiners committee

    NIH $1.5 million grant awarded: to study weaving storytelling and medicine to teach effective communication skills to physicians and other healthcare providers who treat patients diagnosed with cancer.  

    Prestigious AAFP Teaching Award: bestowed upon faculty member Reid Blackwelder, M.D. as the   single person deemed to be the best full-time teacher of Family Medicine in the United States.
