Welcome to D2L
Desire2Learn is the Learning Management System used at ETSU. On this page you will find access to tutorials and handouts on using the various tools of the D2L system. The tutorials on this site will hopefully help make your online teaching experience more enjoyable. Several new features have been added in the latest release of D2L 9.4.1. Some of the notable updates in this release include:

Logging in to D2L
1. Go to
https://elearn.etsu.edu
2. Login:
Your D2L login is your ETSU login username and password.
The first time you use your account, it will need to be activated by going to http://www.etsu.edu/activate. Follow the instructions listed for ETSU passwords. If you’ve already logged into your ETSU account, you won’t need to activate your password.
Username: Enter your username
Password: Then enter your password which is the same as for your Goldmail account.
You will be able to find your courses under the “My East Tennessee State University Courses” pane in the middle of your screen. Click the plus (+) sign beside the current semester to expand your course menu if you don’t see your courses.
