In 2017 faculty in the Colleges of Medicine, Public Health, Arts & Sciences, and the Clemmer College formed a working group to facilitate collaborative research, training, and service in the area of child and family health. The working group proposed the establishment of a Child and Family Health Institute at ETSU to coordinate campus scholarly efforts and the CFHI was established in March 2020.
The Child and Family Health Institute (CFHI) is pleased to announce that our Collaborative Series builds upon the legacy of the Maternal and Child Health Collaborative Series previously organized out of the ETSU Department of Biostatistics and Epidemiology by one of our founding members, Dr. Claudia Kozinetz. This series features innovations and opportunities for collaboration in child and family health research, education, service, program development, and advocacy. Each session includes a 30-40 minute presentation as well as time for discussion and networking.
