Tables of Content
JOHNSON CITY – East Tennessee State University’s Sherrod Library will host its fifth annual Tables of Content dinner on Friday, March 23.
During this dinner, which will be held from 6-8 p.m. in room 311 of the Sherrod Library, ETSU faculty in a variety of academic disciplines will share their research and interests with tablemates in an informal setting.
There is no charge to attend, and a light dinner will be served. Tables have limited availability and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Each guest will need to register by Friday, March 16.
Faculty hosts whose tables still have spaces available and the topics they will discuss include:
- Dr. Andrew Herrmann, Department of Communication and Performance – “From the Inside-Out: Personal Storytelling in Organizations”;
- Dan Boner, Bluegrass, Old Time and Country Music Studies, Department of Appalachian Studies – “21st Century Bluegrass: Merging the Past and the Present”; and
- Dr. Joseph Shrestha, Department of Engineering, Engineering Technology and Surveying – “Highways: Present Conditions and Future Strategies.”
Several additional tables are currently full, and staff are maintaining a waiting list.
