Scholarships & Aid
FRESHMAN IN-STATE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE SCHOLARSHIPS
Automatic consideration for guaranteed academic performance scholarships up to $5,000 based on GPA and ACT/SAT score. For residents of TN and approved border counties.
Transfer Academic Performance Scholarship
For in-state and border county residents who transfer with 24 transferable hours and a 3.5+ GPA. The award is $3,000 per year. Apply by May 15.
ETSU Promise Plus
For qualifying first-time freshmen who are residents of Tennessee and who qualify for the HOPE Lottery Scholarship and the full Pell Grant. ETSU Promise Plus maximizes the reach of student aid to fully cover tuition and provide a $1,500 housing scholarship, plus more benefits.
Pell Grant
Students with qualifying need could be eligible for the Pell Grant. The maximum Pell Grant for 2022-23 applicants is $6,895.
