The Dining Team is proud to serve you every day and want to ensure you have an exceptional experience whenever you dine with us! A dining plan can greatly enhance your on-campus living experience. Dining plans are a great value, help students eat regular healthy and delicious meals, and are a great way to meet friends on campus!

 

Obtaining a Meal Plan

On-Campus Residents

All students living on campus, with the exception of those living in Buccaneer Ridge, are automatically assigned an Anytime 7-Day Silver Plan as part of their residential experience. Residents who have lived on campus four or more semesters may request to reduce to the 5-Day Anytime or Limited 15 Anytime plan - see details below.

Commuters & Buc Ridge Residents

Buccaneer Ridge residents and commuter students who want a meal plan, may choose any Block or Anytime Plan.

    • Residents already assigned to Buccaneer Ridge will typically have a Residential Meal Plan Application added to their Residence Portal in Summer, and will be notified as that occurs.
    • Commuters or Buccaneer Ridge residents who do not see the Meal Plan Application, may request one by emailing housing@etsu.edu. 

All meal plans purchased in the fall are a two-semester (fall and spring) commitment.

All Block Plans and Commuter Anytime Plans are taxable.

    *After living on campus for four semesters, students have the option to reduce to either the 5-Day Anytime or 7-Day Anytime Limited 15 plans. Eligible students may request this by completing the Request to Change Meal Plan Form linked below under 'Forms'.

  • Block Plan Options

    All Block Plans come with a set number of meals per semester (80, 60, 40, 20 or 10) and a set amount of Flex Dollars which act the same as Dining Dollars. All Block Plans are taxable.

    • Spring 2026 Request Form for Changing Meal Plans
      • Form for students who already have a meal plan and are requesting to reduce or upgrade it for the upcoming term
      • All students assigned to the main campus residence halls are automatically assigned a 7-Day Silver Anytime Dining Plan. Residents who have lived on campus four or more semesters may request to reduce to the 5-Day Anytime or Limited 15 Anytime plan, via this form.
      • The final day to request a change of meal plan for Spring 2026 is the first day of classes, Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
