Entrepreneurs' Club speaker
JOHNSON CITY (March 28, 2018) — The Entrepreneurs’ Club at East Tennessee State University will host Timothy Coleman on Monday, April 9, at 5 p.m. in Sam Wilson Hall, room 334.
Timothy Coleman is director of operations for Industrial Electronics Services Inc. (IES), a woman-owned small business offering design, manufacturing and life cycle management services for electronic products. IES provides services for the U.S. Departments of Defense, Energy and Transportation; the Federal Drug Administration; and commercial electronic products in the domestic and international markets. Additionally, IES is involved with projects at the U.S. Naval Academy, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, University of Alabama in Huntsville, Georgia Tech Research Institute, Tennessee Technological University, Virginia Tech, and NASA.
During his talk, Coleman will give an overview of the electronic product market as well as a glimpse at operating a small focused manufacturing business.
Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree in technology from ETSU in 1992, has lived and worked in Japan and serves on the board of advisors for the ETSU’s College of Business and Technology.
